Bread Pudding

Tina’s original bread pudding recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup milk

  • 3 cup sugar

  • 6 large eggs

  • 2 sticks butter, melted

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 4 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 20 hamburger buns

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and lightly butter a baking pan.

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, and eggs. Add the butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg a little at a time, whisking in between.

  • Tear the buns into 1-inch cubes/pieces. Stir in half of the bun pieces and mash down the mixture.

  • Mix in the remaining bun but do not mash down the mixture into a mush. Just stir the ingredients until the remaining buns are coated.

  • Bake for 45 minutes
