Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp milk (or 1/4 cup)

  • M&M’s to decorate

Directions

  • Beat butter until smooth.

  • Gradually add 1 cup powdered sugar and the cocoa powder, mixing/beating well.

  • Slowly mix/beat in vanilla and milk.

  • Add remaining powdered sugar and mix/beat until smooth.

  • Spread over cheesecake or other dish. Garnish with M&M’s. Chill until serving time.

Notes

  • Add a little more milk if necessary for better spreading consistency. Can be added after all ingredients are mixed together.
