Ingredients
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 tbsp milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix together the eggs, vanilla, and milk.
set aside 1/2 cup of your flour for later, use the rest in the next step.
In a larger separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and butter until it is a lumpy dough.
Make a whole in the middle of the mixture. Add the mixture of eggs, vanilla, and milk to the center hole. Mix together.
Mix the 1/2 cup of flour (from earlier) into the dough.
Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
Use tree cookie cutters.
Bake at 350°F for 8 minutes. Do not let cookies get brown, they taste better when baked less than typical cookies. The cookies should have a firm top when done.
