B+B Wisconsin Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 Hershey chocolate bars (7 oz bar)

  • 6 Heath bars (1.4 oz bar)

  • 1 cup nuts

  • 2 cups butter

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 2 cups brown sugar

  • 7 cups oatmeal (old fashioned)

  • 4 eggs

  • 3 tsp vanilla

  • 4 1/2 cups flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.

  • Chop candy bars.

  • In a bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  • Mix together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.

  • Add eggs and vanilla. Blend until mixed.

  • A little at a time, mix in flour mixture.

  • Add in oatmeal, candy, and nuts. Mix until evenly distributed, but do not over-mix to pulverize the candy and oats.

  • Portion the cookies onto a baking sheet.

  • Bake at 375°F for 8-10 minutes.
