Ingredients
2 Hershey chocolate bars (7 oz bar)
6 Heath bars (1.4 oz bar)
1 cup nuts
2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
7 cups oatmeal (old fashioned)
4 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
4 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Chop candy bars.
In a bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Mix together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla. Blend until mixed.
A little at a time, mix in flour mixture.
Add in oatmeal, candy, and nuts. Mix until evenly distributed, but do not over-mix to pulverize the candy and oats.
Portion the cookies onto a baking sheet.
Bake at 375°F for 8-10 minutes.
